Beauty and The Beast 3D

On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, I went to see the movie Beauty and The Beast 3D.  It's the classic Disney movie, but in 3D.  No need to reiterate the story, but it was great to see it in 3D.  I also learned that Finding Nemo will be in 3D soon too.  That would also be interesting.

It's also interesting to see how Disney is milking this cash cow...

New Year's Eve

On Tuesday, January 17, 2012, I went to see the movie New Year's Eve, directed by Garry Marshall.

This movie is about four intertwining stories that get showcased in the movie.  Lots of stars were in this movie:  Zac Efron, Katherine Heigl, Hilary Swank, Robert de Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and a whole bunch of other stars.

The movie centres around New Year's Eve in New York.  Everyone is getting ready for New Year's Eve but there are positive people who want a new beginning and negative people who just thinks it's a waste of time so they shouldn't bother.

The mini-stories do all have an end and they are all nice endings.  I enjoyed this movie.  There's a twist in the movie that I thought was going to happen, but it tricked me!  What I thought was going to happen didn't and something else did.

You'll have to watch it to find out what this twist is...  And to see if you had the same reaction as me.

Shame

On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, I went to see the film Shame featuring Michael Fassbender.  He plays a character named Brandon Sullivan who works in a top New York company.  He has a lot of money.  However, he has an addiction...  To sex...  The way he lives his life right now, he can indulge in it without causing many rifts or problems.  However, his sister, Sissi, comes for an indefinite stay.  It is by this action that his life spins out of control.  What happens?  What are the consequences?  You'll have to watch it to find out.

The movie theatre that I saw this in was full...  I also bought the last two tickets to the showing that I went to, because I went to this movie with a friend.  I think these actions tell you that the movie is probably worth seeing.
