Spectre

On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, I went to see the movie Spectre, the latest in the James Bond franchise featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond.  Other people that were featured were Ralph Fiennes as M, Monica Belluci, Naomie Harris, Andrew Scott and Dave Bautista.

The story is about Bond, who is in Mexico City, hunting down a target.  Upon eliminating this target, he finds out about another target and starts the hunt.  However, he uncovers a very sinister organization.

An OK Bond flick.  For a spy movie, it was definitely relatively slow moving.

The Peanuts Movie

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, I went to see the movie The Peanuts Movie.

This is a movie featuring Snoopy and friends done on the big screen, with modern animation.

I really enjoyed it and I found it really funny.  However, my exposure to this was a bit limited, since I never actually got a chance to watch this while I was growing up.  I have never seen A Charlie Brown Christmas as well as his show during Hallowe'en.  These are things that I will need to catch up on.

A movie that was fun, that was enjoyable and a break from it all...

Room

On Tuesday, November 10, 2015, I went to see the movie Room featuring Brie Larson, Jacob Tremblay, Sean Bridgers, Joan Allen and William H. Macy.  This story is about Ma and Jack, who are a mother and son who are captives in a shed.  Ma raised Jack for the past five years, trying to make his life as enriched and as normal as possible.  However, as Jack gets more curious, Ma hatches a plan to escape to the outside world.

What happens?  You'll have to watch the movie to find out.

Steve Jobs

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, I went to see the movie Steve Jobs featuring Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet and Seth Rogan.

The movie is about Steve Jobs and what happened behind the curtains as well as in his life around the launches of three of his iconic products.  The Apple Macintosh, the NEXT cube and the iMac.

It also talks about the power struggles and the other struggles that Jobs had.  As well as the type of personality that he had and how difficult it was to work with (and for) him.
