Scoop
Today, I went to see the latest Woody Allen movie, Scoop. This is a drama/comedy/mystery that was written by Woody Allen, and as well stars him as one of the characters.
This movie did not get many good reviews on rottentomatoes, especially from the Cream of the Crop. However, I saw this film, and I really enjoyed it. But then, I only have two other Woody Allen films that I can compare it to, one being Match Point. I thought that Match Point was very poorly wrapped up. Therefore, after seeing Scoop, I was pleasantly surprised. The writing was great, and the ending wrapped up very nicely too, and not done too quickly, which is a good thing.
This movie is about Scarlett Johanssen's character: Sandra Pransky, who is a Journalism student, and she stumbles across a very hot news story that could give her the big break in reporting. Howver, the person whom she's attempting to investigate, she ends up falling in love with him. (Hugh Jackman). How the movie ends? Well, I will not give it here, so that it doesn't get spoiled. However, I do believe that this movie is a well-done one, and that you should go see it. It was much better than Match Point, in my opinion.
Also, Hugh Jackman was very hot in this film. The last film I saw him in was X Men 3: The Last Stand, and I really didn't think he was attractive with that haircut and that beard and sideburns. Mmm.... Very yummy.
