Limitless

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, I went to see the movie Limitless. This movie features Bradley Cooper, Abbie Comish and Robert De Niro.

Bradley Cooper plays the character of Eddie Moura, an author who has a bit of writer's block. His life isn't going anywhere and on top of it all, his girlfriend dumps him because she got a promotion at work.

In walks his ex brother in law. He asks Moura to go for a drink and lets him on a secret, a drug that is "FDA approved". Eddie did not want to take the sample, but the brother in law offers it to him, so he does. As he approaches his apartment, he decides, "What the hell" and pops the pill.

He realizes what happens after when you ingest the pill. He writes 90 pages of his book in one setting and the whole nine yards. He decides that he needs more of this drug, so he goes back to see his ex brother-in-law. Eddie was asked to go and pick up dry cleaning and to get some breakfast. When he gets back, he discovered that the place has been ransacked and that the ex brother-in-law has been murdered. He does however stumble across the stash with some cash and a black book of names.

What happens after this? It's an interesting story with a few twists as Eddie Moura learns about the drug, how to use it, what happens, etc.

A very well done action movie. I was engaged for the entire time... What happens? You will have to watch it to find out!
