Midnight in Paris

On Tuesday, July 26, 2011, I went to see the movie Midnight in Paris. This is the latest Woody Allen movie featuring Owen Wilson, Carla Bruni, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams and whole bunch of other actors.

The story is about Wilson, who plays the character of Gil, a struggling writer and McAdams, Ines, the woman that he's about to marry. They are traveling in Paris as a holiday, but they are really piggy backing off of Ines' parents. One day after a dinner, while Ines goes dancing with Paul, a friend of hers, he walks through the streets of Paris. He sits down to rest for a bit and then he gets picked up by a car that transports him to Paris in the 1920s... Which he thinks is the golden era. He meets many people: Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, Scott Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein, etc.

What happens? You'll have to watch the movie to find out. It was very good, however and I enjoyed this movie!
