The Five-Year Engagement

On Tuesday, May 8, 2012, I went to see the movie The Five-Year Engagement, featuring Emily Blunt and Jason Segel.

The movie is about Tom Solomon, played by Segel, who proposes to his girlfriend, Violet Barnes, one year after they meet at a New Year's Eve party.  They live in San Francisco where Violet is studying to be a doctoral student in psychology and Tom is a successful cook.  They start planning the party, but then Violet gets a letter from the University of Michigan, offering her a post-doc opportunity.  So, Tom puts everything on hold and they move to Michigan so that Violet can do her post-doc.

However, because of this, their wedding plans get put on hold...  What happens at the end?  Do they postpone the wedding?  Do they finally get married?  You'll have to watch the movie to find out.
