Everything, Everything

On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, I went to see the movie Everything, Everything, featuring Amandla Stenberg, Nick Robinson, Anika Noni Rose and Ana de la Reguera.

The movie is about Maddy Whittler, played by Stenberg, who has SCID (Severe Combined immunodeficiency).  She is 17 years old, but because of her condition, basically lives indoors.  She has to be taken care of 24-7 by a nurse and her mother is a doctor.

One day, a new neighbour moves in and she notices a boy, Olly Bright (played by Robinson).  They get to know each other better and fall in love.  Eventually, Olly makes Maddy realize that she is not really living.  And Maddy decides to take a chance and go outside.
