Trophy wife at a laundromat?

Today, I needed to get some laundry done, so I went to the laundromat around the corner, and got my laundry done. The following story, I swear to you, is true!

A woman walks into the laundromat, with a bunch of clothing. And then she went on to ask how these laundry machines work... So, I told her that you need to put the money into the machine for them to work... And then she was asking how to sort the laundry (whites and lights vs. colours). She was doing laundry for her son, but it gave me the idea that she is a trophy wife, and she has never done laundry in her life! She didn't even remember to add the detergent to the machine for her clothing... I had to remind her!

I was just flabbergasted, to say the least, at her lack of knowledge of how to run a washing machine with coins...
