You will survive, don't cry.
Today, I went to have a coffee with Claude at a café near Mont-Royal metro. Claude looked tired, and a bit dishevelled, but perhaps it's because he's taking three hard-core math courses. Anyway, we chatted over coffee, and he's doing well, and me as well. We were just catching up.
Behind us, there were two people, who were also sitting together. And at one point in the evening, the girl started having red eyes and was crying... She also had a ring which she took back and put in her purse... Now, I'm assuming that it wasn't tears of joy (but who knows, it could have been), and I'm assuming it's more tears of sadness, tears of break-up.
I feel the pain of this young woman. I have had more heart torn to pieces in a café before. Don't despair, your heart will heal, and you will find someone who is deserving of you, and your emotions. You will survive!
My thoughts go out to this woman tonight, as well as those who were dumped in a café, and am looking for real love, and a stable relationship. It takes guts to put your heart on the line. And people who have found love, they are really lucky. I believe that sometimes, they forget how lucky they are.
