Coraline 3D

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, I went to see the movie Coraline 3D.

This movie is about this girl, Coraline, who just moves into a new house where her parents are busy finishing up a catalogue. So, she gets really bored and starts exploring her house... She finds this trap door that doesn't work during the day but at night, it leads into a parallel universe where she finds her "parents" and they are the parents that she dreamed of. What she doesn't realize is the dark secret that her mother harbours...

A dark and kind of horror-esque cartoon. Nice animation though, and quite good on Real 3D. Not necessarily a theatre movie, but definitely worth it on DVD (provided you get the glasses that allow you to see 3D).

Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French did voice work for this film, which is awesome.
