Piché: Entre Ciel et la Terre

On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, I went to see the movie Piché: Entre Ciel et la Terre.

This is a Quebecois film featuring Michel Côté. This movie is about a pilot, Robert Piché and his life. It is not an autobiographical account of his life, but a movie based on incidents in his life.

Robert Piché is a pilot that flies for Air Transat and who saved over 300 people from a crash in 2001. However, upon covering his heroic act, his sordid past of having smuggled drugs and spending seven years in jail came to light.

The story is about his struggle with detox, his experiences in jail, his early life experiences and his experiences as a pilot.

A good film, but at times confusing because it was not done in a chronological order.
