Soul Surfer

On Tuesday, April 19, 2011, I went to see the movie Soul Surfer featuring Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Carrie Underwood and AnnaSophia Robb.

The story is based upon Bethanie Hamilton. She is a world famous surfer who was the victim of a shark attack and lost an arm. It tells the story of her struggle to relearn everything and learning how to surf again.

This film also shows the struggle that her family went through and how Jesus helped them through all this.

I had no idea that this family was highly religious...

It was a heartwarming movie. Kevin Sorbo was in it... He was best known for his role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys in the 90s.
