Blue Jasmine

On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, I went to see the movie Blue Jasmine.  This is the latest Woody Allen movie featuring Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin and Sally Hawkins.

This story is about Jasmine, New York socialite, who has had a nervous breakdown because of her husband's death in jail.  His husband was found guilty of business fraud and was arrested by the FBI.

She decides to go to San Francisco, impose upon her sister, Ginger and start a new life.  What occurs?  You'll have to watch the movie to find out.

This time, Woody Allen does not make a cameo in the movie.  Or if he did, I didn't catch him.  It was a very well done movie, the acting, especially by Cate Blanchett, was superb.  However, the ending, I also found, was a bit abrupt, just like the last few Woody Allen works.
