The Trip to Italy

On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, I went to see the movie The Trip to Italy, featuring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

This is a movie where the title is indicative of what the movie is about.  It's a trip to Italy, different regions of Italy, with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.  They see a lot of beautiful scenery, they eat a lot of good food, and visit some very cool places, but that's it.  That's the movie.  There's no plot, no storyline, no character development (well, they are playing themselves for goodness sakes).

So...  If you go into the movie, looking for beautiful scenery, mouth-watering Italian dishes from all different regions and scenery, great!  You will have a great time.  However, if you're expecting plot and character development, you will be disappointed.

There are also many impersonations in this movie.  Some of them good, some of them not-so-good, but I suppose that could get old pretty quickly.
