Sherlock Gnomes

On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, I went to see the movie Sherlock Gnomes, featuring the voice acting talents of Emily Blunt, James McEvoy, Johnny Depp, Maggie Smith, Chiwetel Ejiofor as well as Michael Caine.

This is kind of like Gnomeo and Juliet 2, but they are doing a different story.  You have the characters from the first one all coming back for this movie, such as Gnomeo, Juliet, Nanette, etc., but they also introduce some new characters...  And they introduce characters outside of the gnome class (such as dolls, Japanese porcelain cats, etc.)

The movie starts off with Sherlock Gnomes, who foils a caper of the evil Moriarty.  He was about to crush a whole bunch of garden gnomes, but Sherlock Gnomes saves the day.

Next thing we know, Gnomeo and Juliet move into a new garden in London, England.  However, we are aware that garden gnomes all over London and while Gnomeo is out getting Juliet's favourite flower, this garden gets ambushed and the gnomes are all taken.

What happens next?  You'll have to watch the movie to find out!
