So tonight, I was talking to Raoul again, and he was telling me how all his previous attempts at guys have left him jaded and thinking there are only one sort of guys. This was his exact quote: "oh wait.. I forgot.. all my failed relationships and the liars and self-haters have left me jaded.. (not to mention the people only after one thing which has left me convinced that is the only kind of guys there are out there)" (Raoul, 2006)
To this I would like to say the following: You had your chance at a perfectly good relationship where the person was not a liar or a self-hater. But you overlooked that, and decided to not pursue it. That is not my fault. I suppose you're starting to regret your decision now. Oh well.
On another note, I had my first mathematician moment today. I was mumbling to myself about a possible solution/proof to a question I was given for homework in Ring Theory. In the media, mathematicians are perceived as socially awkward people who do eccentric things, because they were/are so lost/concentrated on the problem(s) that they are trying to solve.
