The Notorious Bettie Page

On Wednesday, May 10, 2006, I went to see The Notorious Bettie Page. It was a movie that was somewhat historically accurate, about the pin-up sensation who posed in some s&m pictures and in this particular film, starred in some raunchy s&m films.

The film was tolerable. It was not good. I did like some of the s&m scenes that they did in the film though, it was a refreshing breath of air.

I went to see this film with Roman. I don't think he liked it either.

While we were at a restaurant after the movie, The Prayer - sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion came on the radio. I asked Roman if he knew the song, and he knew it. He then told me that he recently heard Celine Dion's - D'amour et d'amitié on the radio. I have no idea why he mentioned this song, perhaps he realizes that the lyrics of that song was how I felt about a month ago.

Also, I mentioned that I may spend the day on West Island in Montreal when I apply pesticide to my mattress, and he told me that he would like to spend the day with me to keep me company. Interesting, I guess.
