The Art of the Steal
On Tuesday, September 24, 2013, I went to see the movie The Art of the Steal, featuring Kurt Russell, Matt Dillon, Jay Baruchel, Kenneth Welsh, Terence Stamp and Katheryn Winnick in the movie The Art of the Steal.
This movie starts off with an art forgery heist that lands Matt Dillon's character, Nicky Calhoun, in hot water. However, he makes a deal with interpol and gives up his brother, Crunch Calhoun - played by Kurt Russell's character. Crunch ends up doing seven years in a Polish prison, but was let out in five and a half on good behaviour.
Crunch no longer steals artwork, so he does stunts on his motorcycle. He is given money to throw his stunts, as his fans are there to see him fall rather than to see him make the stunts. He throws his latest stunt for $800.
Strapped for cash, and upon hearing that his brother pulled off a painting that is a rare painting, he sets into motion a plan by getting his old team back together in order to forge the world's second oldest book.
What happens? You'll have to watch the rest of the movie to find out.
