Dallas Buyers' Club

On Tuesday, January 14, 2013, I went to see the movie Dallas Buyers Club featuring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Gardner and Jared Lato.

This movie is about an electrician and part-time rodeo cowboy, Ron Woodroof, who gets diagnosed with HIV.  At first, he does not believe it, because he is pretty straight arrow.  He then decides to do a bit of reading about HIV and finally accepts that it's something that he will have to live with.

After the acceptance of his HIV, he decides to make a bit of money by offering other people who have the same condition as him a chance at other medicines that are approved to be used in other parts of the world, but not by the FDA.

What happens in the movie?  You'll have to watch it to find it.  It is inspired by true events, but certain things have been dramatized for the big screen.  It was also written by Jean-Marc Vallée, who was responsible for C.R.A.Z.Y..
