Like Father, Like Son

On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, I went to see the movie Like Father, Like Son.

This movie talks about two families, the Nonomiya family, with father Ryota and mother Midori and their son Keita as well as the Saiki family, with father Yukari and mother Yudai and their son Ryusei.

Ryota is a very successful business man, who provides for his family.  He owns a humongous apartment and has his son, Keita, involved in many things - like piano.  One day, Midori gets a phone call from the hospital where she had Keita and this meeting turns everything upside down.

It turns out that Keita was switched at birth with their biological son, who has been with Saiki for the past six years...  Things get complicated because how do you just introduce new family into a pre-existing framework of family?

This movie also asks many interesting questions with regards to family, children, relationships, etc.  A really interesting movie that makes you think.
