Isle of Dogs

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, I went to see the movie Isle of Dogs.  This is the latest animated feature by Wes Anderson.  A whole slew of actors helped voice this movie, such as Edward Norton, Liev Schrieber, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johannson, Yoko Ono, etc.

The movie is about a city in Japan, Megasaki, under the rule of Mayor Kobayashi, who ships dogs off to trash island to die...  This was done as a measure to stop the spread of dog flu and snout fever.  There was fear that this would transfer over to the humans.

Fast forward to a boy who hijacks a plane, lands on Trash Island to find his dog.  What happens?  You'll have to watch to find out.  And this was done in classic Wes Anderson style!
