My first jaw dropping response
I recently gave a test to my science class, and I got my first response (I'm sure of many from students) that made me just drop my jaw. I also got a good laugh out of it, but I was just shocked that this answer was actually written.
Here's the question:
In Mr. Wong's Science (code edited) class, he demonstrated the pith ball activity to a student, in order to explain the concept that whenever a charged object is brought towards a neutral object, once it touches, the object that was neutral before is now the same charge as the object used to attract. However, one of his students does not believe him. Please help Mr. Wong explain to the student this concept using some diagrams and short explanations. Assume that the plastic rod has a positive charge.
Here's the answer:
Okay so like we took a piece of plastic and rubbed it with a cloth for like about 10 minutes then we put it over a round plastic container with grains of sand in it then the sand started to move.
I would like to point out that aside from the lack of punctuation, this answer did not even answer the question.
All that's missing in the answer was the "Ready, OK!" and the pom poms before the answer.
