Les Intouchables

On Tuesday, May 22, 2012, I went to see the movie Intouchables, featuring François Cluzet and Omar Sy.  The story features Philippe (played by Cluzet) who's a really rich paraplegic.  He is very demanding and goes through caregivers like changes of clothing.

In walks Driss (played by Sy).  He came to the interview not wanting the job, but because he wants a refusal so that he can get unemployment insurance.  Philippe takes a shining to him and essentially dares him into being his caregiver for two weeks, because he said that Driss wouldn't last two weeks.

This film explores the unlikely bond formed by two men, each having their own insecurities and problems and how they help each other get through the hardships.  It's funny, only with each other do they experience the best company.
