Frozen

On Tuesday, January 21, 2014, I went to see the movie Frozen.  I watched the movie in 3D, although I don't feel that you needed to do so.

The movie is about two sisters, Elsa and Ana, who live in the kingdom of Arendelle.  Ana is always cheerful and wanting to play and Elsa has the power to create ice, snow and cold.  She plays with Ana by creating snow so that they can build a snowman indoors.  Ana also starts to run around on mountains of snow and then as she gets more and more excited, Elsa cannot keep up with catching her sister's steps.  She eventually slips on a patch of ice she created and hits her sister with an ice beam in her head.

The family takes Ana into a field of trolls who have the power to help Ana.  The Troll King, Pabbie, helps Ana by removing all memories of magic, but not the sentiments of fun related to it.  It was the only way to save Ana.

After this incident, Elsa completely isolates herself from her family and especially from Ana...  To protect her, for her own good.  It is also during this time that their parents die in a storm, so the sisters are indeed truly alone.

Eventually, coronation day comes for Elsa and Ana is very excited.  However, an event causes Elsa to lose control of her powers and freeze practically everything, changing Arendelle into a land of perpetual winter.

What happens in the rest of the movie?  You'll have to watch it to find out!
