Uvanga

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, I went to see the movie Uvanga.  This is the Inuit movie.

M'eh.

This film was indie.  Tried to be indie...  Classic storyline of indie.  Put all the sad sob stories together...  Death of the father that's unresolved as there are fifteen gazillion different stories floating around...  Mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  People with drinking problems, gambling problems, etc...

Though I do salute them for showing the reality as well as using local actors...  That's about all the credit I can give them.  The rest of it...  M'eh.  Really.  M'eh.
