Sully

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, I went to see the movie Sully, featuring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney.  I went to see it in IMAX because I got bonus Scene points.

The movie was fantastic!  It is based on the story of Chelsey 'Sully' Sullenberger, who was a pilot for 40+ years.  He was flying a US Airways flight to Charlotte and on the take off, encounter a flock of birds, known as a bird strike.  This disabled both engines on the aircraft.  He had to make a decision fast:  Either he was going to return to LaGuardia Airport or land in New Jersey.  However, he decided that none of those two options were going to be possible, since he didn't have enough speed or altitude, so the Hudson River was his only option.

Even though we kind of know how the story ends, the acting was very well done and the story line just sucked you in.  I really enjoyed it!  I don't think you need to see this movie in IMAX, though it was very beautiful on the IMAX screen.  I highly recommend this movie.
