Breakfast on Pluto

On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, I went to see the movie Breakfast on Pluto. This movie was recommended to me by a friend of mine, who is into alternative cinema, and queer cinema. The main character is a cross-dressing transsexual, played by Cillian Murphy.

This movie was well done, but way too long. It felt like a Peter Jackson epic, it felt like Lord of the Rings: Return of the King kind of long, where 3.5 hours felt like 6 - 7. This movie was slower than Transamerica, and my friends found that movie to be slow.

Not to mention, about half way through the movie, some lady came up to my row, and started flashing around with a cell phone, because she apparently dropped something, and then a baby woke up and cried for five minutes... Stupid people... I complained and got a free pass though. That's good.

Recently, I have been in the mood for queer films. However, I have exhausted the list... The next movie I would like to see is Hoodwinked, but it's not available at AMC.
