Rio

On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, I went see the movie Rio. This is an animated feature about a male blue macaw being mated with a female blue macaw because they are the last two of their kind on Earth. However, things go awry and they are stolen by bird poachers, because the last two on Earth would fetch a really good price.

What ensues is a hilarious tale of escape, fighting, sticking up for each other and learning. What happens? You'll have to watch the movie to find out.

The music and dancing (animated) is pretty good. I didn't watch it in 3D, but apparently, it is available in 3D.
