Rio 2

On Tuesday, May 14, 2014, I went to see the movie Rio 2, featuring the voice talents of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Will. i. am., Jamie Foxx, Bruno Mars and a whole bunch of other actors.

The story takes place after the first movie, where the two last blue macaws were mated and they created three offspring.  They settled in Rio, because that's where the two owners, two bird lovers also fell in love and settled.  Blue (Eisenberg) and his children are used to a city life, while Jewel (Hathaway) is more used to a jungle life.  While Blue was making pancakes with blueberries for his children, they see on the TV that their owners Tulio and Linda might have found blue macaws in the wild.  So, they fly off in search of this.

What happens next?  You'll have to watch the movie to find out.  But this time around, there are two villains in this movie and not just one...  Nigel from the last movie makes a return, as we found out that he was not killed in the mishap of the first movie and he wants his revenge.  However, there's also the head hancho of an illegal logging corporation in the Amazon that also threatens our protagonists.
