Bolt: 3D
On Tuesday, November 25, 2008, I went to see the movie Bolt in 3D. Bolt is a Disney's animated film. One of the last projects before the big purchase of Pixar (or should I say the other way around?)
The story is about a cute white doggy/puppy, whose name is Bolt. He is the main character in a cheesy crime drama. He is a doggy with "super powers". He has a super sonic bark that rips up roads, machines, etc., and he has super fast powers when he zoom-zooms and he can melt metal locks with his glare. However, what the doggy doesn't realize (the doggy's name is Bolt) is that this is all fake... It's all part of the show... Bolt's sidekick, Penny is trying to rescue his father, who's a professor, and has technology that the green eyed man wants (that's the bad guy). We start off the movie with Bolt seeing that his Penny was captured by the green eyed man. Because of that, he escapes the studios and tries to save Penny. What follows is a cross country journey of him trying to get back to Hollywood and to his studio.
John Travolta does the sound of Bolt, and Miley Cyrus does the voice of Penny. A fun movie for the family... Especially more fun if you opt for the 3D option. Very very enjoyable.
In other news today... There was a CD signing by James Blunt, so I got a few CDs signed (for me and for two of my friends). I usually can't stand his music, because I find his music very whiny. I can only stand one song on his second CD, Same Mistake, and the other ones, I don't really like. However, I did buy the deluxe edition of the CD (one CD and one DVD with bonus songs) and I also got him to sign that!
