Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

On Tuesday, November 11, 2008, I went to see the film Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. This is the second film in the Madagascar series, and it's a film by Dreamworks Pictures.

The story is about the four animals from the first one: Alex (the lion), Marty (the zebra), Gloria (the hippo) and Melman (the giraffe) who took a vacation in Connecticut. However, they were taken to be escaped animals and finally captured. The story begins because animal activists believe that they should be released back into Africa.

A fun movie where it's traditionally Dreamworks animation, and their style. A funny children's film with a few references for adults.

I saw this film in IMAX, but it's not one where the IMAX and no IMAX would make a huge difference. A lot of big names in this movie too, for example, I didn't know that Will.I.Am was in the movie, as well as Bernie Mac and Alec Baldwin.
