Vicky Cristina Barcelona

On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, I went to see the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona. This is the latest film by Woody Allen. It features Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansen. As male lead, we have Javier Bardem. He's the guy that won the Oscar for No Country for Old Men.

The story is about two good friends, Vicky and Cristina. They spend a summer in Spain, and it is about how this one summer changes all of their lives. I am not going to go into the details, because there are a lot of small details that would just give the movie away.

This is a different style than the usual Woody Allen film. It's the third film that Johanssen has done with Woody Allen. This is also the first film where Allen did not make a cameo.

I found this film to be a little slower than his other films. I found myself checking out how long is left in the movie about a little more than an hour in...
