Brick Mansions

On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, I went to see the movie Brick Mansions.  This was the last movie that Paul Walker starred in.

This movie is about the city of Detroit in 2018, where crime has gotten so bad that they have built walls around a part of the city and called it the Brick Mansions neighbourhood.  To survive, a warlord has taken over and decided to run a drug trade to keep himself afloat.

It also stars, Detective Collier, played by Walker, who is obsessed with trying to arrest the top drug dealer, because this person was responsible for his father's death.

This movie is based upon the movie Banlieue 13, which was shot in France and features David Belle (he's also in Brick Mansions) and lots of parkour.  However, they changed quite a few things.

Personally, I thought the original was better.
