What the hell?
On Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 in the morning, I decided to go to Resto du village to have some breakfast, since I won't be there over the weekend. (I'm going home for Chinese New Year). As I was entering the Guy-Concordia Metro station, some guy started chasing after me said that he wanted to pinch my ass... Thinking he was probably high on something, I tried to outrun him, but by the time I got to the ticket booth, I realize I couldn't, so I stopped and stared at him... Then I asked, "You wanted something?" I stood my ground, and he backed off and said, "Oh, I just wanted to see what would happen if I said I wanted to pinch your ass..." I kept looking at him, and then I used my pass and passed through the gates to take the metro.
I got to Beaudry metro station, and there were two STM security personnel there. They were busy with something else, but I walked up to them, told them about what happened, and asked them what I could have done in the future. I was told that I should get a description of the person, and then call 911. However, I said that, "I don't think I'm going to be taken seriously, since it's a guy who wanted to pinch my ass." But the officer was insistant, and he told me that because his intentions are unclear, as you do not know what he wants to do, that still warrants a legitimate 911 call.
Yeah, some bizarre people hang out at metro stations.
On a totally different note: I found out that I can buy the monthly passes at the Pharmprix close to my house. (Note: Pharmaprix = Shopper's Drug Mart in French). This means that I can buy my passes there, and get optimum points for it. For the past six months, I've been buying my passes at the metro station. (Usually Guy-Concordia, but whenever I get to a metro station).
