Outwrite! Submissions

I got an e-mail today from the Outwrite! committee. I submitted three pieces and none of them got chosen. Oh well, we are not the judge of our writing, as others are. And I don't know of anyone whose writing pleases everyone. It's too bad that I didn't get published, but it was important that I got my feelings down on paper, and at least I tried.

It's too bad... If I had gotten published, I would have asked them to send me a copy, and perhaps they could have sent a copy to the Queer Union at Concordia University. Now that my work isn't going to be in the publication, I'm less inclined to get/ask for a copy, and their chance of sending it to some other universities is one less, at least. But everything happens for a reason.
